NEVER USE AN ALCOHOL BASE CLEANER, YOU WILL END UP STRIPING THE FINISH
Protected from the elements, your board should last for many, many years.
We do see the appearance of “character” as a positive for the board. Small dings, dents, and scratches add to the sense of history of a well-used and cherished board.
Most boards are finished with shellac. Brushing or spraying on a light coat of shellac will probably restore the finish like new. Light sanding with fine sandpaper, such as 400 grit, before and between coats will help, too.
Should you wish to strip the finish completely, shellac dissolves in alcohol.
Please beware that we apply any paint on your board between layers of shellac, so stripping back the finish may remove paint, too.
We rarely use polyurethane to finish boards, particularly those with pad auk wood and similar alcohol-soluble natural coloring. Even with this finish, a fresh layer of shellac on top should work fine.
REMOVING THE FINISH WHILE THE PRODUCT IS UNDER WARRANTY WILL VOID THE WARRANTY

Yes, we can! For orders of at least 30 units, we can work with you to modify and customize our product line to fit your needs. Just mention in your inquiry that you want to do a custom design.
Please keep in mind, however, that custom orders will take a minimum of 4 weeks to complete, so please plan accordingly.
For orders of 20 units or more, we can brand your ordered products however you’d like with our laser engraver. Here’s how it works:
1. Choose the product you’d like from our standard item catalog and send us your logo
2. We provide you a digital mockup of your custom-engraved product
3. You approve, and we ship within four weeks!
For standard unbranded items, there are no minimums.
For custom-branded items, the minimum order is 40 units in total.

We are happy to work on the design for you, create free mockups, and do other such work before you commit to the purchase.
We do not, however, place your board on our production list until it is paid for in full.
If you are pressed for time, we would recommend paying for your board as soon as possible to reserve your place on the production list

e keep our credit and debit payment system very simple. We never see entire card numbers or security codes. All that data is handled by an encrypted PCI-compliant processor.
We maintain current PCI compliance for our industry type and systems.
Our website is hosted on a third-party secure server using industry-standard encryption technology, similar to financial institutions.
We receive summary information about credit and debit transactions – card type, name, exp. Date and the last four digits of the card number but never the entire card number or security code.

We cannot run orders with credit or debit cards by phone, mail, or email.
We maintain PCI compliance, but we are not authorized to do so. If we start doing this, we will become liable for ALL losses should your card ever become compromised! We can’t afford to take that risk so we accept these payments through our website only.
This happens occasionally, and we can’t always tell why.
Please check you have the billing address correct as registered with your card issuer. If that doesn’t work, please consider using the PayPal option – you don’t need an account with them, just the card. They seem to use a different verification method, and sometimes that does a better job.

The payment is immediate and will place your board on our production list as soon as you approve the design.
Checks and Money Orders are fine, but boards are not added to production list until they have arrived and cleared.
We stopped all promos, codes, vouchers, discounts, and such at the end of May 2012.
We reduced our prices on all our boards instead as this seemed a much fairer and honest way to do business.
This way, when you buy a board from us, you needn’t worry you’ve missed a special deal if only you had surfed the web for another hour or two!
There is no place to enter a code on the website, and please consider all codes found on the web to be fake.

You must contact us within three days of receiving the package, and you will have to return the broken board we will pay for shipping once you receive the broken board we will send out a replacement
Unfortunately, once it leaves thy hands, we have no control of what happens to the package You, the customer, are responsible for lost and stolen boards. At the time of ordering, you had the option of picking insurance for your shipment if you have picked insurance we can process the claim for you and return any money that we recover from the carrier
